National Sportsmanship Day is March 2
Focusing on a theme of "Competitive Self-Restraint", the 19th annual National Sportsmanship Day will be celebrated March 2 in more than 14,000 schools throughout the United States and around the world. National Sportsmanship Day is widely recognized as the largest sportsmanship initiative in the world. In addition to the day of special recongition, a number of year-long programs and contests are incorporated into the event through the Institute for International Sport.

Missouri AD Association Joins All-American Partners
All-American Publishing is pleased to announced that it has reached a partnership agreement with the Missouri Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) to support the efforts of the professional group in its mission to improve the educational aspects of interscholastic activities within the total education program. All-American will provide technical support and expertise in developing communication vehicles for MIAAA and its membership. Missouri becomes the twenty-first state to partner with All-American in its efforts to enhance the development of effective and responsive high school activities programs within communities nationwide.

While Budgets Are Cut, Rosters Are Not
Every where one looks in high school athletics, budget cuts are the topic of the day. How to deal with those cuts is an agenda occupying a majority of athletic directors' already overcrowded schedules. Despite the financial focus, many school administrators are still focusing on a mission of keeping as many students involved as possible. With a little thinking outside of the box, some administrators and coaches are finding The More The Merrier
