Phillip Rison, CMAA, has been named the Associate Executive Director for the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), effective July 1, 2016. The NIAAA is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rison, from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, is the current Executive Director of the Kentucky High School Athletic Directors Association. Rison will take the position currently held by Michael Blackburn who will become Executive Director of the NIAAA in July upon the retirement of Bruce Whitehead. Read more here.
